The Expo will bring together health and community services as well as special guests for an informative and engaging event. Join us to learn more about your wellbeing and the services available to you locally! Connect with professionals from a wide range of health and community services including the Local Health District (LHD) and Primary Health Network (PHN). Council will collect garden prunings, no longer than 2 metres and no thicker than 200mm, tied in bundles. A weight limit of 16 kilograms for each bundle or box applies. A maximum of one cubic metre, which is equivalent to about 4 wheelie bins, is allowed per premises. *Please note grass clippings are no longer accepted as grass clippings in bags reduce options for beneficial re- use of green waste. The service is only available to residents with a kerbside bin collection. Registration is required. Registrations close at 12 noon, Thursday 5 March 2026. Registration can be completed by contacting Council's Customer Service Office on 6354 9999 or filling in the online form on Council's website at https://council. lithgow.com/waste recycling/waste-greenwaste/ Remember to place your green waste on the kerb, where your bins are usually placed, on the Sunday before the collection day. Green waste that is not put out for collection in the correct place and at the correct time cannot be collected. Kim will also be sharing details of her latest, locally-set novel - Dust and Wonder - which takes us into the history of Jenolan Caves. International Women's Day at Eskbank House Celebrate International Women's Day in the historic gardens of Eskbank House, as we honour the diverse and powerful women of Lithgow.
