Once the initial civil works have been completed the road will be resealed in the following weeks. High Street, Portland: The road between Willewa Street and Roxburgh Street will be completely rehabilitated and stabilised over the next 3 weeks. Once the stabilisation works are complete the road will be resealed. Geordie Street Crossing Between Friday, 30th August, 6:00am Monday, 2nd September, 6:00am This closure is required by Sydney Trains who will be conducting essential upgrades to the signaling systems which will include the excavation of the road at the Geordie Street crossing. Detour: From Great Western Highway & Cooerwull Road intersection via Main Street, Mort Street, and Bridge Street There will be access to the Great Western Highway from Cooerwull Road, but there may be delays as works occur.
