La Salle Academy has entered the 2026 academic year with high energy and great enthusiasm for an exciting year ahead. Our student leaders have laid out a challenge to our student cohort to get involved, participate and avail of every opportunity that is presented to them. With such a dynamic and engaging group of student leaders we are confident that we will continue our amazing growth and success across all aspects of school life. Our captains reflect on their goals for the year ahead: Archie (School Captain): As school Captain this year I'm looking forward to really making my mark in the school, by inspiring our younger students to strive for excellence in and outside of school. Isabelle (School Captain): As School Captain for 2026, I am looking forward to experiencing and engaging with all the new opportunities that La Salle Academy has to offer. Zach (School Vice Captain): I look forward to working alongside my peers and teachers to make the school as good as it possibly can be. Molly (School Vice Captain): I am most looking forward to being Vice Captain at La Salle Academy to not only serve the school community and support students across all year levels but to also create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels heard and valued. Glen (Mission Captain): I am most excited about our social justice initiatives and fundraisers, seeing what impact we can make local community through our collective efforts fills me with excitement. Abi (Mission Captain): In 2026 I would like to encourage and push for more student involvement with the different service projects that we do. I would also like to start or introduce new activities and programs that we heard about from the Lasallian leadership camp (a camp that brought school leaders together from all over Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea). With Strong student leaders and the completion of new capital works projects, continued investment in strengthening our academic outcomes and a strong wellbeing and pastoral support program, it is no wonder that La Salle Academy is the place to be.
